This Privacy Policy explains how Arva Abayas ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Arva Abayas mobile application (the "App") or shop with us at arvaabayas.com. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to process and deliver your orders:

  • Contact details — your name, email address, and phone number, provided when you place an order.
  • Delivery address — street address, city, state/province, and PIN/ZIP code, provided when you place an order.
  • Order details — the products you purchase, order value, and chosen shipping method.

The App does not require an account or sign-in. Your shopping cart, wishlist, and any addresses you choose to save are stored locally on your device only, and are deleted if you uninstall the App.

2. Payment Information

Payments in India are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider. Your card, UPI, or banking details are entered directly with Razorpay — we never see or store your payment credentials. Razorpay's handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy at razorpay.com/privacy. Orders in the United Arab Emirates are payable in cash on delivery, and no payment information is collected in the App.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To process, confirm, and deliver your orders.
  • To send you order confirmations and delivery updates by email.
  • To respond when you contact us for support.
  • To prevent fraud and verify payments.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.

4. Who We Share Information With

Your information is shared only with the services required to run our store:

  • Shopify — our e-commerce platform, which stores your orders and delivery details (privacy policy).
  • Razorpay — payment processing for orders in India (privacy policy).
  • Vercel — hosts the secure server that connects the App to our store (privacy policy).
  • Delivery partners — receive your name, address, and phone number to deliver your order.

5. Data Retention

Order records (including your name, contact details, and delivery address) are kept in our Shopify store records for as long as required for accounting, tax, and legal purposes. Data stored on your device (cart, wishlist, saved addresses) remains until you remove it or uninstall the App.

6. Your Rights

You may at any time request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to legal record-keeping requirements). To make a request, contact us using the details below — we will respond within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Security

All communication between the App, our servers, Shopify, and Razorpay is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Access to order information is restricted to our team.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the effective date shown at the top.
